UTM Office for Students with Disabilities
Promoting inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities at the University of Tunis El Manar
The UTM Office for Students with Disabilities is managed by Mrs Imen Ellouzi. The office collaborates with undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral schools to support students with disabilities in both academic and social contexts.
Working closely with the University Health Facility and the students themselves, the office evaluates medical and functional needs to identify suitable academic and non-academic accommodations.
Faculty members and facilitators are trained in disability law and inclusive education, ensuring timely and appropriate support across all university departments.

Main Inclusion Events UTM Without Obstacles
UTM organizes inclusive events under the initiative “UTM Without Obstacles”, aimed at raising awareness and promoting accessibility on campus.
Support for Students with Disabilities
- Disability Support Office: Academic guidance, accommodations, and continuous student support.
- Assistive Technologies: Screen readers, voice recognition software, and Braille equipment.
- Personalized Learning Plans: Individualized plans developed in collaboration with faculty.
