Stakeholder Engagement
Stakeholder Engagement Principle
In order to ensure their participation and the transparency of a process dedicated to equality and diversity, dedicated committees at the university should frequently identify and understand the stakeholders who have an interest in the conclusion of any university undertaking. The following stakeholders have already been identified by our university: • The general public, the local community, the press and the media; • Students, future students, graduates; • Academic and administrative staff; • Government, NGOs and private organisations; Dedicated UTM committees should choose the best channels of involvement and determine the criteria for prioritising stakeholders. In order to maintain stakeholder engagement and support, dedicated experienced committees should organise stakeholder communications. This will ensure the flow of clear and relevant information to stakeholders. Feedback and comments should be sought honestly and objectively, and milestones should be shared with stakeholders. Staff engaged in these activities should recognize opportunities from feedback and establish actions, review goals, and plan next steps for follow-up and future engagement. Personal engagement of stakeholders should choose appropriate engagement strategies needed for the effort. The goal, outcomes, timeframe, available resources, and levels of concern or interest in the effort should all be considered when determining the level of engagement. Our policy ensures that access to its activities is accessible to all, regardless of race, religion, disability, immigration status, or gender.
